Zach Galifianakis teams with other comedy wits for a true slapstick and J.G.L takes on the role of one of the country’s most wanted men for espionage.
“Masterminds” – Based on true events, the comedy sketch follows the story of David Scott Ghantt and others who helped him rob a bank in the South. Ghantt was an armored car driver for Loomis Fargo & Company. In 1997, he and 21 others stole $17.3 million in cash from the bank; the robbery was the second largest on U.S. soil at the time. Galifianakis stars as Ghantt and Jason Sudeikis, Owen Wilson and Kristen Wiig also portray members of the so-called “Loomis Hillbilly Heist.” Watch an interview with Ghantt HERE and learn more about the story…it’s pretty hilarious! Masterminds hits theaters August 19.
“Snowden” – Directed by Oliver Stone, he captures the well-known story and crime of Edward Snowden. Snowden is accused of leaking information from the NSA in 2013. He’s currently seeking asylum elsewhere, while living in Russia. Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Snowden), Shailene Woodley and Scott Eastwood star in the film, which hits theaters Christmas Day.
